This piece of side furniture has a formally clear design and an additional use: the low table with a drawer fits in well next to a bed or a chaise lounge. It was conceived in a way that allows it to be pulled over the edge of the bed or lounge, saving space during the daytime. It is a classic designed by Thonet in 1934 and for many years it has been an inherent part of the extensive tubular steel furniture collection, which mainly includes designs by architects such as Breuer, Mies van der Rohe and Stam.
